Thank you for finding me in your DNA search for family and friends. We both knew as soon as we swapped messages we were of the same ilk, and without even seeing each other we were instantly friends. We had just started to tell each other our stories, each with the same enthusiasm of close kin. It was remarkable that without knowing we had walked such a very similar path. I never had a brother and if I had, he would be you Austin. I will remember you always and I know you will watch over me until I join you in your new world. Lots of love new friend and look out for me when I make the same journey.

Austin was our dear friend for nearly 40 years and we are utterly heartbroken at his loss. He was funny, talented, gentle and kind - a remarkable, special person. We remember all our times together - times filled with laughter, friendship and love. We are both so sorry that we cannot be with you - to say our goodbyes - but we will be with you in our thoughts and our hearts.

Austin was a good friend and someone I knew for a long time going back to 1997. He was a musician and that is how I first got to know him best away from work. We jammed together, laughed together, drank beers together. He will be missed and pray for the repose of his soul and for his family during these difficult times that they be given strength and know he is in a better place.
